Celebrate Recovery at the COGWC will not be hindered...no matter if the electricity goes out or not!!   Josey Cruise was our guest speaker this past Monday evening, and gave a powerful testimony of God's love and forgiveness that He extends to everyone.  Due to the blackout, we moved the location to the upper level where our new bunk house is located and everything went on as usual.  What a testimony it was!  God is still in the saving business.  Make no mistake about it!  Thanks, Josey, for your words of inspiration!

Sister Penny Akers from OBI gave her testimony at CR recently.  This was her first time giving her testimony publicly, and it touched everyone in the church.  None of us really do not realize how strong we are and what we can endure with the Lord's help, until we hear testimonies like this.  Penny's story is a compelling witness of the power of God to overcome intense trials of life.  It touched on drug abuse, divorce, separation from God, and even murder.  Through all this, Penny is a victorious Christian today who can testify how good God really is.  Thank you, Penny, for having the courage to share.  God Bless You!

Sister Alice from the Catholic Church at Manchester spoke recently at our CR.  She is such a blessing and one of our best workers with the small children.  Sister Alice is being reassigned and won't be with us much longer.  She's been so faithful to our CR here in Manchester, and she will be sorely missed.  God Bless You, Sister Alice, on your continued endeavors of serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Brother Billy Lunsford gave his testimony at CR recently.  God has brought him from the pit to the palace, and gloriously saved him.  He recently married and he and Kim live in a beautiful home.  God has blessed them both greatly.  What a mighty God we serve!

Sister Candon Stevens, Associate Pastor's wife and Ladies Ministry President at the COGWC, gave her compelling testimony at CR.  If you missed this one, you missed a wonderful opportunity to see and hear a God-given transformation.  Not all stories and testimonies at CR involve substance addictions.  Candon's testimony involved a struggle with eating incorrectly leading to weight gain and health issues.  Her transformation began in May 2018, and is still ongoing.  She has lost an amazing 139 pounds!  Candon, your church family is so proud of you, and we love you very much!

Michael Davidson gave his testimony last evening at CR, which impacted everyone there.  He shared how that God had His providential hand over him his entire life, even during the deaths of his parents when he and his sister were small children.  It never ceases to amaze us when we see how strong we really are, even when we don't know it.  God is good.  Thank you, Michael, for sharing your story.  We appreciate you and your family!

I'm telling you, if you're not coming to hear these wonderful testimonies at Celebrate Recovery, you're missing out on a great blessing.  Sister Kim Townsley gave her testimony at CR recently, and she moved everyone there!  How powerful, how anointed, how miraculously God changed her life.  She's been healed, fully restored to a right relationship with God, and not ashamed nor afraid to tell all that God has done for her.  God Bless You, Kim!

Celebrate Recovery was blessed once again with a generous donation from Advent Health of Manchester.  The check was presented by Randy Craft to Ministry Leaders, Brad and Shannon Garrett, this past Sunday.  THANK YOU! Advent Health for your continued support of this much needed outreach ministry.
